Self Improvement Through Awareness pc (SITA), a Clinical Psychology practice, is a Professional Corporation in the State of Illinois serving the Chicagoland area. SITA has Offices in Chicago, IL and Naperville, IL.

Dr Viji Susarla

Dr Viji has been in Clinical Psychology practice since 1995.She has been trained in several treatment modalities including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Behavioral Therapy, Depth Oriented Therapy, Solution Focused Therapy, Systemic Therapy, EMDR.As an Assistant Director of the Institute for Yoga & Consciousness (Research Wing), Andhra University, India, she specialized in the use of various yogicand meditative techniques in the treatment of mental disorders.She is the founder of ĎManodarshaní, a therapeutic and self-development center in India.

She earned her Ph D from Andhra University.†††

Dr Viji specializes in Mood and Anxiety Disorders, Attention Deficit Disorders, Pain Management, Cross Cultural Therapy and Cognitive Rehabilitation & Behavioral management services for persons with Traumatic Brain Injury and Stroke.She provides individual, group, marital and family therapy.

Dr Vijiís approach to therapy is informed by the person seeking help and the problems at hand.She strongly believes that awareness, curiosity, openness to feedback, solution focus and goal orientation lead to effective management of disorders and development of Self.

Dr Viji founded SITA in 1996.

 

 

 

Christopher Lubawski

Chris received a Masters of Arts in Professional Counseling from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology at Argosy University, Illinois, specializing in Career Counseling.He graduated Cum Laude with a Bachelors of Science in Psychology and a Minor in Sociology from Illinois State University.

Chris is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Illinois.

His approach to therapy is to focus on understanding each person as an individual in their unique environment, in order to assist them in reaching their goals.

Chris has been working at SITA since 2005.

 

 

Anna Pec

Anna Pec is a Licensed Professional Counselor at SITA, pc. She received her Masters of Arts in Clinical Counseling from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology in 2016, with a concentration in Health Psychology. Growing up, she lived in Berwyn, IL and moved to the western suburbs in her early 20s. She always knew she wanted to help others work through emotional issues that have negatively impacted their lives in a major way. Her approach to therapy is to provide guidance to clients by developing insight into their unique sense of self and discovering meaning within their personal interactions through humanistic and cognitive behavioral techniques.She specializes in Anxiety e to clients by developing insight into their unique sense of self and discovering meaning within their personal interactions through humanistic and cognitive behavioral techniques. She specializes in Anxiety and Mood Disorders, Anger Management, and Military Trauma Services. When she's not seeing patients Anna enjoys taking her dogs to be a part of the Animal Assisted Therapy program for Edwards Hospital in order to share the joy of her dogs with those in need!and Mood Disorders, Anger Management, and Military Trauma Services.

Mary Trolia
Mary is a Masters-level therapist who is currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology at Adler University. She has a passion for working with people who are hoping to change their lives in a significant way and works collaboratively with them to help reach their goals. Mary has experience in providing diagnostic and psychological assessments, which she uses to help shape the therapeutic process. She has worked with a wide range of individuals ranging from children to adults, as well as with families and individuals with traumatic brain injuries.She uses a humanistic approach when working with clients while also incorporating ideas from other theoretical orientations such as ldren to adults, as well as with families and individuals with traumatic brain injuries. Lisa Suarez

Lisa Suarez is a Chicago native with a deep love for the city and its people. She received her Masters in Clinical Psychology from The Chicago School of Professional Psychology, and is currently in the last stages of completing her Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. Her experience is primarily with adult and geriatric populations, but enjoys working with younger children and adolescents as well. Lisa likes to utilize Cognitive-Behavioral methods, but also incorporates Systems Theory in order to help people achieve not only healthy but balanced lives as well.Her areas of specialties include psychological testing, mood disorders, cognitive disorders and rehabilitation, and relaxation training.
